RakeTech Snags Two Firms Specializing in Sports Wagering and Gaming Operations
Raketech, a leading European iGaming affiliate, has announced its strategic acquisitions of BetXpert.com and Turtle Gaming as part of its expansion strategy on the continent.
BetXpert.com, a platform that provides betting tips and live scores for various sports, is available in English and Danish. The company's competitive advantage lies in its quality journalistic content and objective view of the gambling industry.
Turtle Gaming, another company acquired by Raketech, operates multiple casino and sports betting media outlets, including TurtleBet.com and Nettikasinot.Casino. These acquisitions aim to strengthen and expand Raketech's presence in the European online gambling market by enhancing its portfolio of sports betting and casino content brands.
Michael Holmberg, Raketech group CEO, believes the Turtle Gaming acquisition will help reinforce Raketech's position in Finland. He also expressed confidence that BetXpert.com's expert sports betting content will attract more sports bettors, broadening Raketech's market coverage.
Raketech received $75 million of investment earlier this year, which will support its growth and development plans. The company, founded in 2010, currently operates over 1,500 affiliates in several European countries.
The acquisitions of BetXpert.com and Turtle Gaming are expected to improve localization and user engagement, as both brands deliver localized content and detailed industry analysis. This aligns with Raketech's strategy of tailored, data-driven marketing in regulated European markets.
By integrating these brands, Raketech can cross-promote casino and sports betting content, boosting traffic and conversion rates across its network. The acquisitions also enrich Raketech's casino product suite, with Turtle Gaming’s assets like TurtleBet.com offering valuable player insights in key European countries such as Sweden.
The gross gaming revenue from sports betting and online gambling in Denmark over the past year was $5.3 billion, indicating a significant market potential for Raketech's expansion. These acquisitions support Raketech’s objective to consolidate its affiliate position in Europe’s regulated betting and casino spaces using data-driven expertise and localized content.
