Rastatt district appoints Sébastien Oser as its new official.
Sébastien Oser, a seasoned administrator with a background in law, has been appointed as the First State Official and Deputy District Administrator in the district of Rastatt. The announcement was made by Interior Minister Thomas Strobl in Stuttgart on August 15, 2025.
Oser's journey in public service began in November 2011 when he joined the Baden-Württemberg state administration. In 2013, he took over the management of the Competence Center Energy at the Government Presidency Freiburg.
In April 2017, Oser moved to the Rastatt District Administration Office. He started by heading the Office for Building Law, Climate and Nature Conservation, and Public Order. For nearly three years, he has been the department head for Building, Environment, and Public Order at the Rastatt District Administration Office.
In September 2018, Oser additionally took on a deputy department head position at the Rastatt District Administration Office. He was also partially assigned to the Ministry of the Interior.

Before joining the Rastatt District Administration Office, Oser served at the Regierungspräsidium Freiburg. There, he was assigned to the INFOBEST trinational advisory body and later headed the Energy Competence Center before moving to the Landratsamt Rastatt.
Oser studied law in Freiburg and passed the second state examination in law in 2011. His career in public service spans over a decade, and he has shown a commitment to environmental conservation, building law, and public order.
As the First State Official and Deputy District Administrator, Oser is poised to continue his work in Rastatt, ensuring the district's continued growth and development while maintaining a focus on environmental sustainability and public order.
