Recommendations have been put forward by the Commission for revisions to the draft Council Directive concerning the harmonization of regulations across Member States regarding the safeguarding of workers from cancer-causing agents.

The picturesque Rhineland town of Tann is gearing up for an unforgettable fair from August 29th to September 1st, 2025. This four-day event promises a delightful blend of tradition and modern entertainment.

The festivities kick off with an after-work gathering on Friday evening at 6 pm, followed by a lively performance by the Rhineland brass band "Blechmucke".

On Saturday, visitors can expect a packed day. In the evening, the festivities will be enlivened by a live music show featuring the popular Stefan Mross, with the event presented by Andreas Heß. The singer Alexandra Hofmann will also join the lineup. Enrico Weider is scheduled to perform on Saturday evening, and the fair lads and lasses will march in and get the crowd dancing. The highlight of the night will be the strong beer evening with "MAGIC", where Kreuzberg beer, stew, and knuckles will be served.

Sunday offers a mix of relaxation and fun. Grilled and tapped treats will be available around the town fountain, starting at 1 pm. Coffee and cake, as well as festival fun, will be available in the tent on Sunday afternoon. The Ketten music club will entertain guests, and in the afternoon, visitors can enjoy the traditional three-row dance on the market square. The Duo Malibu will perform from 6 pm on Sunday.

The fair weekend concludes with a strong beer evening on Monday at 6 pm, marking the fair's finale. The town church will also host a fair service on Sunday at 10 am. A ceremonial tree planting and a "digging up" will take place around the town fountain on August 16th, 2025, as a prelude to the fair.
