Comedian and media personality Christian Ulmen, along with his wife Collien Fernandes, have made a significant impact in the German entertainment industry. The couple, known for their diverse artistic activities and as moderators, have appeared together in various productions, such as the improvised comedy series "Jerks" and advertising campaigns for online pharmacies like "Shop Apotheke".

However, after 14 years of marriage, the couple has announced their separation. The news was shared in a joint statement, and their agency confirmed the split upon request. The couple moved to the Spanish holiday island of Mallorca two years ago, after previously considering it in 2014 but not finding a suitable home in Potsdam, Berlin, or Hamburg.

The move seems to have been a positive one for the family, as Collien Fernandes finds the work-life balance on Mallorca to be good. The couple's daughter was born a year after their marriage in 2011.

Christian Ulmen, who began his media career at MTV and is known for his unusual humor and original formats, has acted in cinema and television productions, including films like "Herr Lehmann" and "Maria, himschmeckt't nicht!", and TV series like "Dr. Psycho" and "Tatort". Fernandes, on the other hand, prefers energy drinks over coffee in the morning due to experiencing shaking with coffee. She believes an ideal father is someone who doesn't need to be asked to take care of their child and actively contributes to child-rearing.

In recent years, the couple has faced adversity, including receiving hate messages after making a statement against right-wing extremism. Despite this, they continue to make a significant impact in the entertainment industry.

In other news, Hamm, a city in Germany, hosted the 16th AOK Corporate Run with thousands of participants. The event featured a voting arena for youth, and Hamm also experienced one of the driest summers since 1930.
