Relax under the historic linden trees during Italian nights in the Baroque style setting.
The city of Münster is set to host its annual "Showroom - the Festival of Museums and Galleries" from September 5th to 6th. This year's event, a joint production of Münster Marketing, the municipal Cultural Office, museums and galleries, ISI, the Salzstraße Quarter Association, and the Münster Westphalia Market Traders' Association, promises to be an exciting celebration of art and culture.
The festivities will officially begin on September 5th at 7:30 pm, with the event being opened from the balcony of the Erbdrostenhof by Mayor Markus Lewe and Matthias Lückertz, chairman of the Salzstraßenviertel association. The Domplatz Park will serve as the heart of this year's Showroom for the third time, with a long, white-clothed table extending from the Erbdrostenhof to the Salzstraße and the Domplatz Park.
The Salzstraße Quarter Association is hosting Italian evenings with arias and antipasti as part of the Showroom. Brillux GmbH & Co. KG is the main sponsor, and the Volksbank in Münsterland eG provides support for the event.
A musical program titled "Canzoni ed Arie Italiane" will be featured, with performances by Angela Park (soprano), Judith Gennrich (mezzo-soprano), Youn-Seong Shim (tenor), and Gregor Hanke (pianist). Performances will take place on the balcony of the Erbdrostenhof at 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30 pm on both days.
For those interested in the event's schedule, a program brochure is available at various locations, including Münster Information offices, museums, galleries, and shops, as well as online. Whether you're a local or a visitor, the Showroom promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the best of Münster's art and culture scene. Don't miss out!
