At its core, the Scania R999 V8 Red Pearl boasts an internal combustion engine, but this isn't your average truck engine. It is a modified 16-litre V8 engine, biturbo-charged to deliver an impressive 1,000 PS (735 kW). This powerhouse allows the Red Pearl to accelerate from a standstill to highway speed in a mere five seconds.
The exterior of the Scania R999 V8 Red Pearl retains a futuristic aesthetic, with a narrow windshield strip remaining as a nod to its original truck form. The vehicle's striking appearance is further enhanced by an elaborate paint job featuring airbrush and gold elements, which cost approximately 20,000 US dollars. Numerous chrome elements complete the look of this stunning truck.
