Renovation at the intersection: adjustments to bus routes 40, 91, and 97
In the city of Halle (Saale), residents and visitors should be aware of upcoming disruptions to public transport services, as announced by the Halle Transport Authority (HAVAG), a company of the Stadtwerke Halle group.
From September 5th to 8th and 12th to 15th, the Rennbahnkreuz will undergo closures, affecting both its eastern and western bridges. This closure will have a significant impact on lines 40, 91, and 97, with certain stops not being served during the closure periods.
The stops Rennbahnring (platform B) and Rennbahnkreuz (platform E) will not be served during these periods. A replacement stop for the Rennbahnring (platform B) will be set up on the paved area opposite the bus loop at house number 36.
For those travelling on tram line 91, the Ankerstraße (platform A) and Rennbahnkreuz (platform F) will not be served during the closure of the eastern bridge from September 12th to 15th. Similarly, line 91, travelling towards Am Steintor, will not serve the Saline (platform A) during the same period.
Tram line 97, travelling towards Ammendorf, will not serve the Saline (platform A) or the Rennbahnkreuz (platform F) during the closure of the eastern bridge from September 12th to 15th. Additionally, it will not serve the Ankerstraße (platform A) during the same period.
It is important to note that the replacement stop for Rennbahnring (platform B) will not be a regular bus stop. All line changes for buses and trams can be found in the HAVAG traffic announcements.
The closures will affect lines 40, 91, and 97 from 6 PM to 5 AM each day. However, it is important to note that not all stops on these lines will be affected. The closures will only impact the Rennbahnring (platform B) and Rennbahnkreuz (platform E) stops.
Line 40 will be shortened during both closures and will end at the Hyazinthenstraße in the Andalusierstraße.
For those planning their journeys during these periods, it is advisable to check the HAVAG traffic announcements for the most up-to-date information and to allow extra time for travel.
