In a strategic move to foster closer relationships with clients in Spain and Portugal, luxury jewellery brand Pandora has appointed Aurelie Alexandre as the National Director of Pandora Iberia. The appointment, effective immediately, is part of Pandora's management restructuring and comes after Alizee Huitorel's transition to the role of General Director of the Western Europe cluster.

Alexandre will be based in Madrid for her new role, overseeing the operations she leads in the region. She reports directly to the Western and Eastern Europe (Weeu) cluster.

Prior to this appointment, Alexandre served as the Director of Marketing for the Weeu cluster. Her new role marks a significant step in her career with Pandora.

The predecessor of Alexandre as the National Director of Pandora Iberia was María del Mar García. Alizee Huitorel's transition and Alexandre's appointment are aimed at driving sustainable growth and further strengthening corporate culture within Pandora Iberia.

In the first half of the year, Pandora reported sales of 14,421 million Danish crowns (1,932 million euros), a 6% increase over the same period last year. However, the operating gross profit margin for Pandora reduced to 20.3%, down from 20.9% a year ago, with the operating gross profit (ebitda) standing at 4,175 million crowns (559 million euros).

Alexandre's primary focus in her new role will be to lead the markets of Spain and Portugal, aiming to foster closeness with clients and drive sustainable growth. She also aims to further strengthen the corporate culture within Pandora Iberia.

This appointment is a testament to Pandora's commitment to strategic leadership and growth in the Iberian market. With Alexandre at the helm, Pandora Iberia is poised to continue its journey towards success.
