Restaurant robbery in Ohio: Attempted burglary of the inn, theft from old clothing containers, and subsequent arrest of two suspects.
In the past few days, several incidents of theft and attempted break-ins have been reported in the towns of Fulda and Hofbieber, both located in East Hesse.
On Tuesday, August 26, around noon, unknown individuals pried open a drawer in an Asian restaurant on the vegetable market in Fulda, stealing cash. The perpetrators remain unidentified.
On the same day, in the evening hours, unknown individuals attempted to break into an inn in Hofbieber. However, their attempts to pry open two front doors failed.
The most recent incident occurred on Wednesday, August 27, when two women aged 55 and 58 were arrested by the Fulda police station. The arrest took place in the early hours of the morning, around 2:50 a.m., following a witness report about a suspected theft near clothing containers. The arrest occurred on the parking lot of a grocery store near used clothing containers.
During the identity check, one of the women was found to be carrying a stolen e-scooter. The e-scooter had an apparently forged insurance plate attached. The 55-year-old woman must now answer for the suspicion of attempted theft, misuse of license plates, and forgery of documents.
The incidents also involved the theft of clothes. On Wednesday, August 27, two women were arrested in Fulda after a witness tip-off, apparently in the process of stealing clothes from a container.
