Retail Media's Upfront Event, eCommFronts 2021, Stands Alone as the Exclusive Focus on Upfronts in the Realm of E-commerce

In a recent announcement, Horizon Media's subsidiary, Night Market, has unveiled the second year of its advertising upfront, dubbed eCommFronts. This event is specifically dedicated to online shopping and aims to integrate next-gen tech-driven shoppable media into media and marketing plans.

The second year of eCommFronts marks a continued emphasis on the intersection of technology and online shopping in advertising. Last year, the event was exclusively for Horizon partners, including Amazon, Google, Facebook, Instacart, Walmart Connect, and Kroger/Promote IQ. However, this year, eCommFronts is open to brands, agencies, and media platforms beyond Horizon partners.

The focus on online shopping in advertising is a response to the significant shift in consumer behaviour due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has accelerated the already existing trend towards e-commerce, with people shopping online more frequently.

Night Market created eCommFronts to address this shift towards online shopping and modern tech solutions in retail media strategies. This year's event, "eCommFronts 2021: Winning the Digital Aisle," will take place on June 22-23. Retailer and technology providers are also invited to participate, alongside brands and agencies, to integrate newly developed technology-driven shoppable media into their media and marketing programs.

eCommFronts 2021 is focused on incorporating modern tech solutions like social, mobile, and live commerce into retail media strategies.
