Revamped Visual Journey Through the City's Chronicles - Fresh Tour Schedule Announced for Historical Photographic Excursions

In the heart of August, on the 21st to be exact, the city of Gütersloh is gearing up for a series of unique events as part of its anniversary celebrations. The Department of Culture has initiated a special project that promises an engaging exploration of the city's history, titled "City History in Pictures."

These tours, scheduled for three separate days - Wednesday, 17th September, Friday, 17th October, and Sunday, 19th October - will begin at the main entrance of the Gütersloh City Library (Blessenstraße 1). For those interested, tickets can be purchased at the gtm Tourist Information (Berliner Straße 63) or online at www.reservix.de for 8 euros per person (reduced 6 euros).

The tours will showcase the large-format artworks of Berlin artist duo, David Mannstein and Maria Vill. These artworks, which have been displayed in Gütersloh since the end of July and will continue until October, have been generating a significant amount of interest, with the "Paste-Ups" in Gütersloh continuing to have high demand.

For those seeking a more personalised experience, private tours can be arranged. Interested parties can contact [email protected] for more information.

Gütersloh Marketing (gtm) has also added three new dates for the tours: September 17th (6 PM), October 17th (5 PM), and October 19th (3 PM). All information about the tours, including booking and details, can be found at www.guetersloh-marketing.de.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, these tours offer a fascinating insight into Gütersloh's rich history and the captivating artworks that adorn its streets. So, mark your calendars and join in the celebrations!
