Reveling in the dawn of a new millennium!

The Frankfurt Book Fair is set to host an exciting event, "Turning the Page," on October 17, 2025, at 16:30 in Hall 3.1, D96 Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 160327 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This event marks a significant milestone in the digital transformation journey of our website and the media industry.

The discussion event will be moderated by Katrin Gottschalk, deputy editor-in-chief of our website and head of digital product development. The panel for the event includes Aline Lüllmann, CEO of our website, Navid Kermani, Bernhard Pörksen, Ricarda Lang, and Erik Lehnert.

Professor Bernhard Pörksen, a renowned media scientist, advocates for an empathetic debate culture. Navid Kermani, known for his new book reflecting on politics, and Ricarda Lang, a Green politician with a newly published book seeking ways out of the crisis of democracy, will also share their insights. The member of the panel who has authored books on both politics and love is Erik Lehnert, known for his essays "Wozu Politik?" and "Wozu Partei?".

The discussion will focus on how media, politics, and society are changing and how to maintain and strengthen democracy, dialogue, and cohesion in times of global crises and growing polarization.

The event is free to attend and will be followed by a reception, where we will celebrate the digital transformation of our website with champagne and cake at our booth.

As of October 18, 2025, our website's daily newspaper will be available exclusively in digital format. However, the weekly newspaper will continue to be printed on paper and distributed on Saturdays. Both the daily newspaper and the weekly newspaper will still be accessible through the website app and as an ePaper.

This digital transformation secures the future of our website and ensures that it remains an independent voice in the media landscape. The printing and complex logistics of distribution are no longer ecologically or economically feasible.

Information about our website's talks during the Frankfurt Book Fair can be found at our website/buchmesse. We look forward to seeing you there!
