The new local public transport plan outlines the current situation of public passenger transport in the region, sets out the goals and measures for the coming years, and spans 157 pages. Key aspects of the plan include improving service offerings, introducing on-demand transport, upgrading bus stop infrastructure, increasing the use of alternative bus fuels, and revising existing route bundles.

One of the significant changes outlined in the plan is the introduction of on-demand transport, which aims to provide more flexible and personalised travel options for residents. Additionally, the plan emphasises the need to upgrade bus stop infrastructure to ensure accessibility and comfort for all users.
Another important aspect of the new plan is the focus on increasing the use of alternative bus fuels, such as electricity and natural gas, to reduce emissions and promote sustainable transport. This commitment to environmental responsibility is reflected throughout the plan, making it a comprehensive guide for the future of public transport in the Bavarian Untermain.
