Robots and Automated Mobile Robots (AMR) take center stage in the latest live automation event, Trapo.
In the bustling Hall 3C of Fachpack 2025, visitors will have the opportunity to witness an exciting demonstration by Trapo at Booth 551, under the theme "Dancing with Robots". This demonstration will showcase the handling of reusable crates and boxes, weighing up to 35 kilograms, using a variety of robots.
Trapo's display will feature both stationary transport technologies and mobile alternatives. One of the mobile alternatives will be the Trapo Cobot Palletizer, a compact and quickly deployable solution that can move without the need for a safety fence. Another mobile robot, delivered on just two pallets, will act as a "colleague" without the need for a fence, operating autonomously in small spaces.
The demonstration will highlight the use of an autonomous robot (AMR) from Omron and an AMR top module from Moveli for pallet handling. The Trapo Cobot Palletizer (TCP series) will be equipped with a maintenance-friendly suction gripper, while the actor from the HRS series (High-Speed Robot System) will use a fork gripper.
Trapo's gripper technology ensures gentle handling of sensitive or fragile packaging, enhancing the palletizing process performance. The robots will be tasked with the precise alternation of stacking and unstacking crates and boxes.
Moreover, Trapo will demonstrate the synchronous interaction of two articulated arm robots at Fachpack. This demonstration will provide a glimpse into the future of automated packaging solutions, offering interactive insights on automation, practical examples, and trends in production and intralogistics.
