Rosenfeld assumes editorship of The Pioneer.

After a successful tenure, the current Editor-in-Chief of The Pioneer, whose departure was announced by Axel Springer SE last week, will be stepping down on July 31st. Taking over the helm is Dagmar Rosenfeld, who is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Welt am Sonntag.

Rosenfeld, 50, will assume her new role starting this summer, overseeing political journalism at The Pioneer. Her appointment fills the gap left by the departure of Michael Brรถcker and his deputy Gordon Repinski.

With Rosenfeld's arrival, she will also be responsible for audio formats at The Pioneer. This is not her first venture with the media company, as The Pioneer was founded by Gabor Steingart, a well-known figure at the organisation.

Rosenfeld's move from Welt am Sonntag to The Pioneer marks the second time a person will hold the position of Editor-in-Chief at The Pioneer. It is worth noting that no successor for her position at Welt am Sonntag has been determined yet.

The Pioneer, a media company for which Axel Springer SE is the parent company, is a significant player in the industry. Rosenfeld's appointment is expected to bring fresh perspectives and leadership to the organisation.

As The Pioneer bids farewell to its current Editor-in-Chief, it welcomes Dagmar Rosenfeld with open arms, looking forward to the new chapter in its journey.
