Rural Power Generation Operating Efficiently

Starting from October 1, 2025, a four-week construction project to relocate power lines in Laendgasse between Apothekergasse and Residenzbogen will result in traffic disruptions. The closure will affect both pedestrians and cyclists, as well as motorists.

The section of Laendgasse between Theaterstraße and Lower Laendgasse will be closed to traffic, including during night-time hours. Motorists are advised to follow the signage for alternate routes or detours. Larger vehicles are not allowed to make U-turns in Laendgasse due to narrow street conditions.

Residents can still access the closed area via Theaterstraße or Lower Laendgasse. However, pedestrians and cyclists should be prepared for potential disruptions in this area as well. At present, there are no specific detour routes mentioned for pedestrians and cyclists.

It's important to note that this closure is not due to any emergency or special circumstances. The construction work is scheduled to last approximately four weeks, and the area is expected to return to normal traffic conditions by the end of October.

For those navigating the area, it's crucial to follow the signage provided for alternate routes. While the closure may cause some inconvenience, the project is necessary for the ongoing maintenance and safety of the infrastructure in the city.

Stay informed and plan your commute accordingly to avoid any unexpected delays or disruptions during this period.
