The Russian Futsal Team is gearing up for an exciting run in the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021, which kicks off in Lithuania on September 12. The tournament, marking the team's second consecutive appearance, will see them compete as defending vice-champions.

The team's first match is scheduled for September 15 at 20:00 (Moscow time) against Uzbekistan, taking place in Vilnius. The Russian Futsal Team's roster includes a mix of domestic and international talent. Goalkeepers Georgy Zamtaradze, Albert Tsai (both from CPRF, Moscow), and Dmitriy Putilov ("Sinaра", Yekaterinburg) will guard the net. Field players such as Sergey Abramov ("Sinaра", Yekaterinburg), Sergey Abramovich, Artem Antonov, Ivan Milovanov (all from "Tюмень"), Andrei Afanasyev, Danil Davydov (both from "Gazprom-Yugra", Yugorsk), Ivan Chishkala, Romulo, Robinho (all from "Benfica", Portugal), Yanar Asadov, Artem Niyazov (both from CPRF, Moscow), Ruslan Kudziyev ("Norilsk Nickel", Norilsk), and Eder Lima ("Corinthians", Brazil) will form the offensive line.

The team's jersey bears the "Our Boys" emblem, a symbol of unity and pride for the Russian Futsal Team. The final 16-player squad for the tournament was selected following training camps held in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow regions since early August.
