Sachsenlotto has appointed Linda Hüttner as their new manager.
In the heart of Chemnitz, Germany, Linda Huettner, a renowned entrepreneur, architect, and key figure in the city's cultural scene, continues to make significant contributions to the community.
As the CEO of a local construction company and a member of the "Baukultur für Chemnitz" association, Linda has played a pivotal role in organizing the city's popular light art festival, "Light Our Vision." This annual event, which transforms urban spaces through illuminated art installations, is an integral part of Chemnitz's cultural identity and city development efforts.
Linda's passion for her hometown is evident in her latest endeavour. She has donated 5,000 euros to the Alternative Youth Center (AJZ) Chemnitz, a hub for BMX, inline, and skate fans since 2008. The donated funds will directly support the upcoming move of the Druckbude, the city's popular skate hall, to a new, modern fun sports hall within the Schoenherr factory.
Alex Beck, project leader of the skate hall, expressed his gratitude for Linda's support, noting that the funds will be instrumental in creating a space within the new hall that meets the needs of young people and provides a welcoming environment for them.
The city council has approved the move of the Druckbude to the new sports hall, and the city will cover the basic structural costs, such as ramps and sanitary facilities. However, further support is needed for creative interior design to make the space truly special for the city's youth.
Linda emphasizes the importance of making Chemnitz a city where young people can stay and find perspectives. The new Druckbude will offer an opportunity for young athletes to progress to a new sporting level, fostering a sense of community and promoting the city's vibrant cultural scene.
Linda's philanthropy extends beyond the Druckbude. As a co-initiator of the "Light our Vision" light art festival and a Saxon Lottery Enabler, she continues to contribute to Chemnitz's cultural development in various ways.
The money from the donation will benefit the users of the hall, the children and young people of Chemnitz, ensuring that they have a safe and inspiring space to pursue their passions. Linda's dedication to her hometown is evident in her tireless efforts to support its youth and promote its cultural identity.
