Samsung Introduces New Health Features and Partnerships

Samsung has announced a series of new features and partnerships for its Health app, aiming to enhance the user experience in managing their health and fitness.

The latest addition to the Samsung Health app includes advanced prescription management and workout content. Users can now connect their Walgreens account to view new and existing prescriptions, thanks to Samsung's partnership with the pharmacy giant.

Samsung has also partnered with iFIT to provide premium fitness content. This collaboration adds workout routine videos to the Samsung Health app, catering to users seeking a more engaging and immersive workout experience.

In the realm of telehealth, Samsung Health users can now schedule appointments and send messages through the app. The telehealth feature, enabled through a partnership with Amwell, allows users to connect with a doctor virtually, offering convenience and accessibility.

It's worth noting that these new features require account connections with partnered companies to function. This means that users may need to create or link their accounts with iFIT, Amwell, and Walgreens to access the full range of services.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series, recently launched, is expected to incorporate these new features into its mobile Health app variants. However, it seems that these new features are not specifically targeted at wearable users.

These new features will "progressively" roll out starting on September 8. Samsung Health users are encouraged to update their apps to access these exciting new additions.

With these partnerships and features, Samsung Health continues to evolve, offering users a comprehensive health management solution that caters to various aspects of their well-being.
