Saudi Academy Conducts Journalism Training Initiative in Switzerland

The Saudi Media Academy, under the Ministry of Media, has embarked on an exciting journey with the launch of the first phase of its Media Leaders Track in Switzerland. This intensive global event management training program is a significant step towards enhancing media presence, improving the management of national events, and strengthening Saudi Arabia's global representation.

The five-day training camp, which took place in Switzerland, offered hands-on workshops led by international experts. The focus of the training camp was on planning, organizing, and executing major events. The program targeted professionals and creatives across sectors, providing them with an opportunity to gain valuable insights and practical skills.

A key highlight of the training camp was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Media Academy and EHL Hospitality Business School. This agreement aims to foster international collaboration and cultural exchange, further enriching the learning experience for the participants. The memorandum was signed by Khalid Zain Al-Abdeen, the CEO of the Saudi Media Academy, and Stephane Haddad, the associate dean of EHL.

The training camp included site visits to world-class event institutions, providing participants with firsthand exposure to best practices in the industry. Additionally, the program covered team leadership and audience engagement, equipping participants with essential skills for successful event management.

The event was reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday and was attended by Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, the assistant minister of media and chairman of the academy's board, along with other officials. The launch of the Media Leaders Track marks the first practical phase of a four-stage track.

Following the successful completion of the digital advertising course in Riyadh, an international media camp in Singapore is planned. The final stage of the program is an advanced leadership communication course, designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to lead and communicate effectively in the dynamic media landscape.

The agreement supports the Ministry of Media's goal of empowering national media talent, contributing to the development of a robust and competitive media sector in Saudi Arabia. The Media Leaders Track is a testament to the Saudi Media Academy's commitment to providing high-quality training programs that foster growth and innovation in the media industry.
