Searching for individuals who may have seen a hit-and-go incident
In the heart of Wesel, a hit-and-run traffic incident occurred on August 29, 20225, at approximately 3:25 PM. The incident took place at the intersection of Oberhausen Street/Brink Street, where an 8-year-old boy was riding his bicycle.
According to reports, the boy was intending to cross the intersection towards Jaeger Street. As he was pedaling across, a currently unknown car, traveling in the same direction as the boy, attempted to turn right from Oberhausen Street onto Brink Street. Unfortunately, the driver failed to notice the boy, causing him to fall.
The boy sustained minor injuries in the incident. After the collision, the car involved in the accident continued its journey on Brink Street towards Holtener Street without stopping.
