Second installment of the Summer Market offline event takes place

The Offline Summer Market is set to return to Dresden on August 23, 2025, for a day filled with art, culture, and fun at Jorge-Gomondai-Platz. This lively summer festival, organised by a collaboration of local community groups and the city council of Dresden, forms part of the "Dresden Finds Its City" project within the federal funding program "Future-Proof Cities and Centers."

Over the past two years, the Offline Shop Dresden has been commission-free platform for local artists, selling numerous products. This year, the Offline Summer Market has evolved into a permanent platform for Dresden art and design, showcasing over 20 stalls of regional and international artists.

The program includes performances by Vale, Oxford Drama, and various DJ sets, catering to all age groups. Families and children can enjoy a play area, kids' disco, and face-painting station, making it an event for everyone.

Dresden's Deputy Mayor for Culture, Annekatrin Klepsch (Die Linke), has praised the Offline Summer Market for its contribution to the quality of stay on the main street under the open sky and the revitalization of the city center. She highlighted the event's success in bringing people together and promoting local talent.
