Pamphill Manor Up for Sale as a Grand Family Home

Pamphill Manor, a beautiful Grade II*-listed manor house, is now on the market. The property, located in Pamphill, near Wimborne, Dorset, is being handled by James Toogood of Savills for a guide price of £3.45m.

The manor, which was previously part of the Kingston Lacy estate, was built around a 16th-century core by Matthew Beethell. It boasts a handsome east front with a Dutch gable, added in the late 17th/early 18th century, and a Georgian wing overlooking the driveway, added in the early to mid 18th century.

The manor house is set in 2.25 acres of beautifully kept gardens and grounds. It offers ample living space, with the principal bedroom suite and two en-suite bedrooms located on the first floor. The second floor houses a playroom/sitting room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, study, and a guest/au pair apartment.

Out-buildings at Pamphill Manor include an 18th-century coach house and stable block, and a modern garage.

The National Trust has put Pamphill Manor on the market with the intention of it becoming a grand family home once more. Adrian and Emmanuelle Doyle purchased the manor in 2020, but are now choosing to sell it.

More details and pictures of Pamphill Manor are available through Savills. The manor is offered on a 99-year National Trust lease from 2020.

For those interested in this unique opportunity, Pamphill Manor presents a chance to own a piece of history while enjoying the luxuries of modern living.
