Seize the serene ambiance of a sultry summer night, up on the roof terrace of the EPH

The much-anticipated Schlossblick Concerts are set to return to the rooftop of the Erwin-Piscator-Haus (EPH) in Marburg, running from July 25th to September 5th. The grand finale on September 5th will feature the Blueskapelle Marburg (BKM), who will treat audiences to a night of German Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Funk, and Blues Schlager.

The BKM trio, consisting of Christian Gerhard on piano, Goetz Ommerer on bass, and Martin Müller on drums, will open the concert series with their performance titled "Jazz on a summer's night."

The concert series kicks off on July 25th, with the Christian Gerhard Trio setting the tone. On August 22nd, the Gießen indie-singer-songwriter formation Südviertel and singer-songwriter Magnus Ernst will take the stage. The following week, on August 15th, Lazarillo & die Stylophanten will perform German Hip Hop with a live band.

On August 29th, the heavy and grungy trio Apewards, supported by local indie rockers Torino, will perform. DJ Scoop & Nice-Cut will spin tunes as a warm-up and after-party on August 15th.

Each Friday night, concert-goers can enjoy the view of Marburg Castle under the open sky while experiencing a variety of music genres. These include Jazz, Hip Hop, Singer-Songwriter Indie Pop, Stoner and Blues Rock, Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Funk, and Blues Schlager.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the concerts start at 8 PM. Admission to the concerts is free, making for an affordable night of entertainment.
