In Bielefeld on June 2, 2025, a scooter rider aged 31 was involved in an accident on Bleichstraße. The incident occurred at the intersection with Feldstraße.

According to the police reports, the driver of a VW Golf, aged 47, was approaching from the opposite direction. The driver intended to turn left into Feldstraße but failed to yield to the scooter rider who had the right of way. As a result of the collision, the scooter rider fell and sustained severe injuries.

After the accident, the injured scooter rider received initial treatment in an ambulance before being taken to a hospital for further care. The investigation on Bleichstraße continued until 7:30 PM.
