Shopee Launches New Accelerator Program for Filipino MSMEs

E-commerce platform Shopee has announced the launch of its new accelerator program, the Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program (SAP). The program is designed to help high-potential Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) scale their online businesses.

The program, which starts with an intensive bootcamp, is an expansion of Shopee's existing Shopee Tatak Pinoy program. It was announced by Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines, as part of the company's commitment to helping promising Filipino sellers grow their businesses.

The pilot cohort of the program, which begins in the fourth quarter of 2025, will be by invitation only and will include 20 local sellers who have demonstrated readiness to scale their operations. The selection process for the pilot cohort is not specified beyond it being invitation-only.
