Violent Incident in Arnsberg, Germany: Man Assaulted in Supermarket Parking Lot
A violent incident took place on the parking lot of a supermarket in Hüsten, Arnsberg, on September 4, 2025, at 19:35 hours. According to reports from the Kreispolizeibehörde Hochsauerlandkreis, transmitted via news aktuell, the dispute appears to have been over money.
The police station in Arnsberg received information about the brawl, and upon investigation, they found a man with bleeding facial injuries in Straße zum Schloßpark, Arnsberg. The victim was assaulted and knocked down with a shovel, and punched, causing him to hit his head on the ground. The assailant continued to punch the man while he was down, until bystanders intervened.
The assailant, a 36-year-old Arnsberg resident with Turkish citizenship, then fled the scene but was later identified. The suspect arrested in connection with the violent incident is a 32-year-old man from Arnsberg.
