Software Specialist Joe Myers Named to Headground New Role

Broadcast Electronics Promotes Joe Myers to Director of Software Solutions

Joe Myers, a seasoned professional with a background in programming and sales, has been promoted to the director of software solutions at Broadcast Electronics. Based out of Lexington, S.C., Myers brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Prior to his career in sales, Myers honed his skills in programming roles at various radio stations. This technical background will undoubtedly prove valuable as he takes on his new leadership position.

The director of software solutions is a newly created role within Broadcast Electronics, a testament to the company's commitment to expanding its product offerings. Myers will be responsible for aligning the company's software solutions with customer needs and expanding Broadcast Electronics' product family.

Broadcast Electronics' software offerings include AudioVault, "The Radio Experience TREplus", and its partnership with the NewsBoss newsroom automation system. These solutions aim to provide broadcasters with efficient and innovative tools to enhance their operations.

In his new role, Myers will continue to have a sales function, leveraging his sales expertise to drive the growth of Broadcast Electronics' software solutions.

Before rejoining Broadcast Electronics in 2023, Myers was the director of sales at the MaxxKonnect Group. Prior to this promotion, he served as the regional sales manager for Broadcast Electronics in the eastern U.S. and portions of the Caribbean. Interestingly, Myers has held the position of regional sales manager for Broadcast Electronics in two separate stints.

Throughout his career, Myers has held senior sales roles with Harris Broadcast/GatesAir, ENCO, and DJB. These experiences have equipped him with a diverse skill set that will serve him well in his new role.

Rich Redmond, the president and CEO of Broadcast Electronics, expressed his excitement about the promotion, stating that they are leveraging Myers' experience in software to align with customer needs and expand their product family.

Despite extensive online searches, information about Myers' current workplace prior to this promotion could not be found. Nonetheless, his extensive experience and proven track record make him an excellent fit for his new role at Broadcast Electronics.
