The sighting suggests that Tesla is finalising development on new configurations for the Model Y.

Two of these new configurations have been confirmed by Tesla executives: a 7-seater Model Y and a Performance edition. The 7-seater Model Y would expand Tesla's lineup for families looking for extra space, while the Performance model is expected to bring significant upgrades in power and handling. These new configurations could be set for release later this year.
