Sports corporation Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment teams up with Buffalo Bills football franchise in a new partnership.

The Canadian Press reported on September 9, 2025, that Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) has partnered with the NFL's Buffalo Bills to grow football in Canada. This partnership aims to build connections with Canadian football fans via MLSE's sports teams.

The collaboration includes youth camps with the Argonauts, apparel collaborations, and watch parties at select games involving MLSE's sports entities. The first of several youth football clinics, co-hosted by the Argos and Bills, was scheduled for Tuesday at BMO Field. Over 200 youth were set to participate in the flag football camp.

The Bills, who are favourites to win the Super Bowl, will see Canadian fans gaining access to official team merchandise at Real Sports Apparel, both in-store and online, starting Tuesday. In addition, Peace Collective will be unveiling a limited-edition Bills x Argos merchandise collection.

Toronto will host a themed game on Oct. 4 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at BMO Field. Fans attending the contest will receive a Bills-Argos giveaway item, while participants in the first youth clinic will be invited as special guests.

The Bills' chief operating officer, Pete Guelli, stated that Toronto's proximity to Buffalo makes the partnership a no-brainer. This partnership is the Bills' latest attempt to grow their market in southern Ontario, following their regular-season and pre-season games at Toronto's Rogers Centre from 2008 to 2013. However, the series was discontinued after fewer than 40,000 fans attended a game in 2013.

Meanwhile, the Argonauts, who are third in the CFL East Division at 4-8, carry a two-game winning streak into a game against visiting Edmonton. Argos and Bills development coaches, along with some Toronto players, were set to participate in the flag football camp.

It's worth noting that there is no information available about an organization partnering with the Buffalo Bills specifically to promote football in Canada. However, the Buffalo Bills have collaborated with other organizations in the past, such as their ongoing projects with a brand in the United States.

Tickets for the upcoming game at BMO Field start at $20, with an option to add a $5 youth ticket for those under the age of 15. The Bills opened their 2025 NFL season with a dramatic come-from-behind 41-40 win over Baltimore on Sunday. This partnership is set to bring excitement and anticipation for football fans in Canada, as they eagerly await the continued collaboration between the Buffalo Bills and Toronto Argonauts.
