Stabbing incident in Aschaffenburg leaves two dead
In the tranquil city of Aschaffenburg, Germany, a shocking incident occurred in a local park. The suspect in this attack is a 28-year-old asylum seeker from Iran, who had previously lived in his homeland before seeking refuge in Germany.
The authorities have stated that the individual, whose identity remains undisclosed, is deportation-obliged and should be removed from the country. This decision has been echoed by many other politicians, who have also expressed their shock and offered condolences to the victims' families.
The Federal Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, has taken a keen interest in the case. As the head of the German federal government, Scholz has spoken with the heads of the country's security authorities, including the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA). The BKA, a federal law enforcement agency responsible for investigating serious crimes, is currently coordinating the investigation.

The BKA, known for its cooperation with police forces from different federal states and other countries, is working diligently to uncover the motives behind the attack.
Reports suggest that the suspect may also be mentally ill, adding a complex layer to the case. The mayor of Aschaffenburg, JΓΌrgen Herzing, has expressed his shock over the act of violence, joining the chorus of condemnation from political figures across the country.
As the investigation continues, the German public awaits answers and reassurances that measures are being taken to prevent such incidents from happening again.
