Adecco Appoints Annalisa Gigante as New Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer
After a comprehensive search, global human resource solutions powerhouse, Adecco, has announced the appointment of Annalisa Gigante as its new Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer, effective September 1st, 2008.
Gigante will report directly to Dieter Scheiff, the group's Chief Executive Officer, and join the Executive Committee.
With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Gigante brings a wealth of experience to Adecco. Her journey began with Bain & Company in Italy, where she honed her skills in strategy and marketing. From there, she moved on to Monsanto International headquarter in Brussels, where she held various senior positions in marketing and strategy, responsible for the EMEA region, between 1992 and 2000.
In 2000, Gigante took on the role of Director for Global Strategy and Business Development at Manpower. This was followed by her joining Royal DSM N.V. as Vice President for Commercialization, Innovation, and Product Launch in 2006.
Gigante's impressive resume also includes her role as a Board Member of the European Professional Women's Network and Co-Author of "Women on Boards - Moving Mountains" (2007).
