Starpeak Increases Its Creative Services, Collaborating with Peach in the Process

Starpeak, a specialist digital distributor of insurance, has partnered with commercial insurer Peach to co-create insurance products tailored to the micro and SME market. This collaboration aims to address the specific insurance needs of small businesses in niche markets, particularly those in the creative sector.

The new Creatives product, the result of ongoing research into opportunities within underserved niche markets, is aimed at photographers, videographers, web designers, and other creative professions. It provides cover for public liability, as well as optional benefits including professional indemnity, employers' liability, technical business equipment, personal accident, operating abroad, and legal expenses.

This is not the first time Starpeak and Peach have collaborated. Three years ago, Starpeak, then known as SportsCover Direct, first appointed Peach as an insurance partner to support its growth aspirations in the micro and SME space. Previously, they worked together to extend the Hairdressing Insurance scheme to include property cover.

The existing Hairdressing Insurance scheme, launched in 2019 under Starpeak's Protectivity brand, caters to freelance and mobile hairdressers. The latest collaboration between the two companies aims to enhance this offering further with property cover.
