The How to Web Conference 2025, set to take place in Bucharest on October 1-2, is gearing up to be the leading startup and technology event in Eastern Europe. In partnership with BRD - Groupe Société Générale, the conference offers exclusive opportunities for startups developing technology-driven sustainability solutions.
The flagship competition for startups in the region, the Spotlight program, is a key highlight of the event. This program includes opportunities to present on the Startup Stage, dedicated expo space, and targeted media coverage, as well as one-on-one mentoring sessions, meetings with potential investors, and multiple chances to pitch to the international audience. Selected startups will also receive conference tickets, the chance to present on the Startup Stage, and personalized promotional videos produced and published by BRD - Groupe Société Générale.
Applications for the Spotlight program and other startup programs close on August 31, 2025. To be eligible, startups must hold a Startup ticket.
The conference hosts over 550 startups and offers programs and formats designed for growth, investor connections, and showcasing innovations. Two exclusive bootcamps will be hosted on the Focus Stage of the conference: Sales Bootcamp and Fundraising Bootcamp. Sales Bootcamp is a two-hour interactive session dedicated to advanced sales techniques, led by renowned experts, while Fundraising Bootcamp is a two-hour intensive session focused on fundraising strategies, facilitated by Nikola Yanev, fundraising consultant.
The Startup Showcase at the conference focuses on sustainability and encourages startups to present solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future. The Demo Area, located in a high-traffic zone, allows companies to present their innovations in front of over 3,000 participants, including industry leaders and potential investors. The Demo Area offers startups a dynamic platform to showcase their products and engage with potential customers and partners, with flexible booth options for half-day or full two-day exposure.
Over 200 top investors, including representatives from renowned funds, will be present at the conference for the Dealflow platform, which enables direct connections between founders and investors. The conference's Demo Area is a hub of activity, with founders having the opportunity to engage directly with investors featured on stage in the more intimate Q&A Stage setting.
The 2025 edition of How to Web Conference will gather over 3,000 participants, including tech professionals, founders, investors, and industry leaders.
