Stealthy movements in Geneva hidden behind closed doors

The Geneva Motor Show 2017 is underway, and the automotive world is abuzz with excitement. The show, which opened on Tuesday (NZ time), has two full media days before the public can attend.

Many luxury car manufacturers have taken the opportunity to unveil their latest offerings. Ferrari, for instance, uncovered the GTC4 Lusso, while Maserati's luxury SUV, the Levante, with its polarizing design and huge concave grille, also made an appearance. There was buzz about the Levante before the show, with some, like a Lamborghini senior staff member, critically observing its design.

Lamborghini, too, flashed the Centenari at the show, adding to the glamour and excitement. Aston Martin unveiled the DB11, and Bugatti revealed the Chiron, both of which were highly anticipated before the show.

Porsche had two world premieres at the show, but details are yet to be disclosed. Similarly, the search results do not specify who presented the Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze concept car at the Geneva Motor Show, but the four-wheel-drive soft-top version of the concept has certainly caught the attention of many.

Mercedes-Benz showcased the new E-Class sedan and C-Class cabriolet, adding to the variety of vehicles on display. BMW revealed the beefed up 7 Series, M760Li xDrive, and Kia unveiled the new Niro compact crossover.

The Rolls-Royce Black Badge series, aimed at younger buyers, was also unveiled at the show. The spirit of ecstasy (symbol on the bonnet) for the series is now a dark vamp, signifying a more modern and edgy approach from the luxury brand. The unveiling was accompanied by a melancholy version of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" sung by Lorde.

Koenigsegg explained the Agera final edition to a group of international media, providing insights into the final chapter of this iconic supercar.
