Stemwede's Continuation: As Reported by Depenbrock
The municipality of Stemwede in North Rhine-Westphalia has announced that it will be extending its partnership with construction conglomerate Depenbrock for another five years, starting from January 1, 2026. This decision comes in light of the successful collaboration between the two entities that has been ongoing since 2020.
Under the extended partnership, Depenbrock will continue to manage the technical management of the municipality's buildings. This includes the responsibility of controlling and monitoring buildings and technical infrastructure, as well as coordinating all technical services for the municipality. The company will be taking over the reins from January 1, 2026, with the official signing of the new five-year contract expected to take place this summer.
The partnership between Stemwede and Depenbrock is not just about managing the municipality's properties. It is a strategic alliance aimed at providing comprehensive technical care for the municipality's properties. This includes maintenance, inspections, trouble management, and the implementation of energy optimization measures.
Depenbrock uses a Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system to manage the municipality's properties. This system allows for the real-time display of property processes and the creation of individual status reports and evaluations. The software used by Depenbrock enables the display of all property processes in real-time and provides concrete recommendations for budget and action planning.
Currently, Depenbrock manages 37 properties for the municipality of Stemwede, including schools, kindergartens, sports facilities, fire station buildings, chapel buildings, the town hall, and other public buildings. Regular property inspections are a part of Depenbrock's responsibilities for the municipality.
The focus of the new contract with Depenbrock is on ensuring the seamless continuation of the partnership from January 1, 2026 onwards. The new contract will encompass maintenance, inspections, trouble management, and the implementation of energy optimization measures, as well as the provision of concrete recommendations for budget and action planning.
The extension of the partnership between Stemwede and Depenbrock is a testament to the successful collaboration between the two entities. The partnership includes the implementation of energy optimization measures for the municipality's properties, regular property inspections, and the use of a CAFM system that allows for the creation of individual status reports and evaluations of property processes. The new contract will further strengthen this partnership and provide continued technical care for the municipality's properties.
