Stolen bicycles discovered, search underway for the owner

In a recent development, the Braunschweig Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding three abandoned bicycles found on Schützenplatz last Tuesday.

According to a witness's report, the bicycles appeared to have been parked suspiciously for several days. Initial investigations revealed that two of the three bicycles had previously been reported stolen. The third bicycle, a Morrison brand, does not seem to have any records of ownership with the police.

Interestingly, the bicycles were secured with locks that did not appear to belong to them. A broken bicycle lock was found nearby, adding to the suspicion that these bicycles may have been stolen.

The Police Braunschweig are continuing their investigation into this matter. The official website of the Police Braunschweig can be found at http://www.polizei-braunschweig.de. Anyone with information about the owner or the location of the suspected theft is encouraged to contact Police Station North at 0531-476 3315.

For media inquiries, the Police Braunschweig's Public Relations department can be reached at 0531/476-3032, -3033, and -3034, or via email at [email protected]. The police are also searching for the owner of the third bicycle, the Marrison brand bicycle at Schützenplatz.
