Stolen Wallet, Pedelec, and Liquor Controls in Wisconsin Police Report
In Wiesbaden on August 12, 2025, several incidents were reported to the Police Headquarters Westhessen. The incidents included a wallet theft, two cases of drunk driving, a stationary traffic control, and the theft of an e-bike.
The wallet was left in a white station wagon parked at a liquor store on Bahnstraße in Wiesbaden-Erbenheim between 15:45 and 16:05. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the 4th Police Precinct at telephone number (0611) 345-2440.
Two cases of drunk driving were uncovered during the traffic control. One car driver had over 1.1 promille, and one small motorcycle driver had over 1.3 promille. Proceedings were initiated against both drivers.
The traffic control focused on alcohol and drugs, and two seatbelt violations were punished during the control. It is also recommended to always lock a bike to a fixed object, such as a bike rack, for security. Blocking only the front and rear wheels is not sufficient to protect against theft.
On Luisenplatz in Wiesbaden, an e-bike was stolen between 13:30 and 14:00 on August 12, 2025. The e-bike was a gray "Diamant" model, secured only with a foldable lock. The e-bike was left unprotected on Luisenplatz square, and unknown individuals are suspected to be involved in the theft.
