Strangulation and Robbery of a Youth in Fürth: Police Seek Witnesses for Investigation

In the early hours of July 19, 2025, a 19-year-old man was the victim of an assault in the Fürth city area. The incident occurred near the Siebenbogenbrücke at around 1:00 AM.

The press office is part of the Bavarian Police Headquarters Mittelfranken, and the investigation into the assault is being led by the specialist commission for property crime at the Fürth Criminal Police. The attackers, identified as two young men aged 19 and 23 from Fürth, are believed to have fled in an unknown direction after the assault.

During the assault, the perpetrators stole cash from the victim's wallet. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident and was choked multiple times.

The Bavarian Police Headquarters Mittelfranken Press Office has confirmed that the perpetrators have been involved in similar offenses in recent weeks. The Fürth Criminal Police are appealing for information from the public regarding the assault.
