Google Introduces Preferred Sources Feature for Personalised News

In a move to enhance user experience, tech giant Google has launched a new feature called Preferred Sources. This innovative tool allows users to choose which sources they see first when searching for news.

The feature is particularly useful for those seeking the latest entertainment news, such as updates on Taylor Swift's album Easter eggs or insider scoops from reality stars. When you search on Google, you can select the Preferred Sources icon to add your preferred websites to your list.

Existing sites that users have curated will have the same icon to the right of their name in Top Stories carousels. This makes it easy to identify your preferred sources at a glance.

The flexibility to change your list of preferred sources at any time ensures that your news feed remains tailored to your interests. The Preferred Sources tool prioritises the newest breaking news from the publishers you trust the most in "Top Stories" results.

A new "From Your Sources" box has been introduced, curating content from the publishers selected by you. This box appears to the right of the Top Stories header, making it easily accessible.

If you're interested in news from the online car trading platform, Mobile.de, you can choose them as a Preferred Source. Founded in 1996, Mobile.de specialises in buying and selling new and used vehicles in Germany and neighbouring countries. They offer coverage on various topics users search for.

You can add as many preferred sources as you'd like using this feature, ensuring that your news feed is always up-to-date with the information that matters most to you. To ensure the content from Mobile.de appears first in Google results, you can follow a provided link or visit a specific page to select the box for the website.

So, don't miss out on the latest news from your favourite sources. Choose your Preferred Sources today and stay informed!
