Montreal-Based Brand Ciele Athletics Unveils Cold Weather Collection for Winter Running
Ciele Athletics, a Montreal-based sportswear brand, has entered the winter running scene with the launch of its Cold Weather Collection. This new line is designed to tackle the challenges of running in freezing conditions, such as freezing wind, snow-soaked tights, and breath freezing mid-air.

The collection is powered by two new fabrics: COOLmatic | EXP DIAMAfleece and the lighter COOLmatic | EXP DIAMAfleece lite. Both fabrics use a diamond-grid knit made from recycled fibers, with embedded carbon yarns that help regulate temperature, wick sweat, and keep odors at bay.
The FRDWintertight is a sleek lower-body layer resistant to wind, snow, and sleet. It provides the necessary protection for those brisk autumn mornings and sub-zero trail sessions. For those seeking lighter options, the IBTLongsleeve and IBTHoody, made with the lighter DIAMAfleece, offer breathable comfort.
The collection also includes merino wool beanies, UPF +40 balaclavas, and breathable neck collars. For an additional layer of adaptable warmth, the VLVInsulator uses a wool/silk blend. The larger-pile DIAMAfleece is designed for plush insulation and airflow in brutal cold.
As a B Corp, Ciele Athletics continues to push for lower-impact manufacturing. Most of the fabrics in the collection are recycled, ensuring a sustainable approach to winter running apparel.
