County of Simcoe Launches Resident Ambassador Program to Enhance Senior Living

The County of Simcoe has announced the launch of a new initiative, the Resident Ambassador Program, designed to improve the lives of older adults in the community. The program is funded by the Ontario government to the tune of $24,410.

The Resident Ambassador Program, which is not limited to the initial villages of Simcoe Village, Georgian Village, and Sunset Village but potentially extends to other areas within the county, aims to protect the well-being of seniors by providing opportunities for them to stay active, connected, and engaged.
