Stolen Audi A3 Driver Arrested After High-Speed Chase in Stuttgart
In an incident that took place on January 11, 2025, a high-speed chase involving a stolen Audi A3 with Ludwigsburg license plates ended at Augsburger Platz in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. The vehicle, which had been taken in October 2024 from Stuttgart-Feuerbach, collided with a concrete wall due to excessive speed.
According to the police, the chase began when the black Audi A3 was stopped for a routine traffic check in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. However, the driver, who was found to be under the influence of intoxicants, attempted to flee on foot. The driver was arrested shortly after.
The driver, a 43-year-old suspect, was presented to a judge on the same day at the request of the prosecutor's office. The judge issued a warrant and remanded the suspect to a detention facility. The suspect's name, unfortunately, is not yet available in the search results.
The chase included a pursuit through various streets in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, including Veielbrunnenweg, Mercedesstraße, König-Karl-Straße, Wilhelmsplatz, Daimlerstraße, Deckerstraße, Railway Street, and Waiblinger Straße.
