The latest addition to the popular horror franchise, The Conjuring: Last Rites, has made a strong debut both in India and the US.

On its opening day in India, the film managed an estimated 61.10% occupancy, surpassing the Day 1 collections of several other recent releases, including Baaghi 4, The Bengal Files, Madharaasi, and Ghaati. The film opened at Rs 18 crore nett, with the highest occupancy during night shows at 78.00% and the lowest during morning shows at 44.44%. Notably, it had higher occupancy in Delhi (NCR) (68.75%) and Mumbai (39.25%) compared to other cities.

In the US, The Conjuring: Last Rites opened at a staggering $30 million, a figure repeated in the opening paragraph of this article. This impressive start marks a significant milestone for the film in the world's largest box office market.
