Summer's return to our country is imminent, thanks to "Nina"
After a week of moody weather, the country is bracing for a change as the high "Nina" weather system brings summer back one last time. Today, temperatures are expected to be pleasant, ranging between 25 and 28 degrees in many places.
The past few days have been unpredictable, with sudden showers making outdoor activities challenging. Yesterday, many parts of the country experienced temperatures around 25 degrees, but the sun made regular appearances, only for temperatures to drop rapidly after sunset.
In the Upper Rhine region, temperatures flirted with 30 degrees, and tomorrow, temperatures could even reach up to 28 degrees in some places. However, this coming week is expected to be showery in some places, with thunderstorms and lightning possible.
The meteorological autumn started out changeable this year, with consistency not a characteristic of the seasons in the country. The weather disturbance known as "Nina" refers to La Niña, a climate pattern characterized by unusually cold ocean temperatures in the central and eastern Pacific near the equator, influencing global weather and often bringing summer-like conditions to certain regions.
Despite the unpredictable weather, many people have been enjoying the pleasant warm temperatures during the day, moving their leisure time outside. In between the showers, there will be plenty of sun.
Experts predict that those who put on a jacket can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. On Monday, temperatures are expected to range between 22 and 27 degrees, and after the weekend, values will settle between 17 and 25 degrees.
So, while the weather may continue to be unpredictable, it's a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors before the colder months set in. Be sure to keep an eye on the forecast and dress accordingly!
