A disturbing incident occurred at Braunschweig Central Station this morning, as a 22-year-old Ukrainian man was temporarily arrested by police officers following reports of threats and potential violence.

At around 05:40, the man, who was wearing a white ski mask/balaclava, was handling an apparent butterfly knife on the staircase. A witness alerted the state and federal police in Braunschweig, leading to the man's apprehension in an inner-city tram.

The man continued his journey through the main hall and onto the square, eventually reaching the local transport terminal of Braunschweiger Verkehrs-GmbH. However, it was later discovered that the "butterfly knife" found on the man was actually a hair comb.
