The Sunday app, a collaborative effort between an alliance of Northern European Christian media organisations and TWR Europe, presents the gospel to Persian Farsi-speaking people in Europe. Matthea Hoogenboom-Vrij, the driving force behind the project, expresses gratitude for the funding that enabled the app's development and update on a new platform.

The app, available in over 200 languages, includes a basic introduction to Christianity, further teaching for those who have committed to Christ, a 24/7 Christian radio station, and a 'Welcome to Europe' package for migrants. It was initially built 18 months ago but had to be moved from one digital platform to another.

The app's success is evident in its rapid growth. It has surpassed 1000 downloads, and social media advertisements are generating responses not only from Christians but also from non-Christians within the Farsi-speaking community.

TWR's mission to reach the world for Jesus Christ spans 190 countries, and the Sunday app is no exception. The organisation collaborates with international partners, local churches, and other ministries to provide relevant programming, discipleship resources, and dedicated workers.

The follow-up team carefully addresses all serious inquiries, ensuring that no opportunity to guide individuals from doubt to discipleship is missed. The app's potential audience is vast, with estimates suggesting hundreds of thousands of Farsi-speakers in Europe who could benefit from its resources.

In an effort to expand its reach, the Sunday app is now being marketed through a professional marketing firm. This strategic move aims to attract more Farsi-speakers and ultimately bring them closer to the message of Jesus Christ.

Moreover, the Sunday app is not limited to Europe. Plans are underway to extend its outreach to those from Somalia, further expanding TWR's global impact.
