Sunter School undergoes extensive renovation, marking significant changes for its students.
School No. 1 in Suntar, Yakutia, named after Andrei Pavlov, is nearing completion of a comprehensive renovation. The project, which began over seven years ago as part of the "Youth and Children" national project's modernization of school education systems, has been carried out by the regional construction company "YakutskStroy."
The renovation has focused on improving the school's infrastructure, with particular attention given to the dining hall, which now boasts a comfortable and safe environment for hot meal preparation. The surfaces of the school have been repainted, and new furniture and equipment have been installed. Furniture and equipment installation is currently underway, with the final technical works wrapping up.
The renovation took place in Suntar, Yakutia, and the capital repair of the school is now complete. The project, which is part of the comprehensive modernization of school education systems, has been funded by the federal program for modernizing school education systems.
The renovation marks the first substantial renovation since the building was constructed in 1989. Builders replaced the heating, electrical, and lighting systems in the school, ensuring a modern and efficient learning environment for students.
The renovated school building, despite its age, has been transformed into a virtually new school. The renovation was inspected by Yakutia's leader, Aisen Nikolaev, who commended the specialists for their high-quality work.
With the renovation completed on time, School No. 1 in Suntar is ready to accommodate 665 students this year. Over the past seven years, Yakutia has constructed and renovated 169 educational institutions through presidential national projects, demonstrating a commitment to improving the quality of education for its youth.
