In a significant development, the Belzer Rebbe, Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokeach, leader of the Belz Hasidic dynasty, underwent a successful surgery at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. His son, Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokeach, and the Rebbe's aide, Michal Firer, were present during the procedure, which was performed under the supervision of Dr. Saar Hashavya, Deputy Director of the hospital.

The surgery, which was performed by Prof. Iri Liebergall, Dr. Ram Moshayov, and Dr. Saar Hashavya, went according to plan. Following the surgery, the Rebbe was transferred to his hospital room to begin the rehabilitation process.

Mass prayers were held in Belz synagogues across Israel and around the world during the Rebbe's surgery. The Belz hasidim have been urged to continue praying for the Rebbe's full recovery. A special prayer gathering took place at the grave of Rabbi Aharon Rokeach, the previous Belzer Rebbe, at the Har Hamenuchot cemetery.

The Belzer Rebbe's surgery was kept secret, with Hadassah hospital denying claims that they treated the Rebbe under fake news. However, a VIP source reported the secret treatment at Hadassah Medical Center, without disclosing the details.

The Grand Rabbi of Belz sent a bottle of wine to the Shas chief, expressing his gratitude for the support during this time. Motti Eichler, a medical liaison, accompanied the family and the Belz hasidic community throughout the process.

Currently, the Rebbe is still in the rehabilitation process at Hadassah Medical Center, as previously mentioned. The hospital staff have been providing him with the best possible care, ensuring a smooth recovery in the coming days. The Belz hasidim continue to pray for the Rebbe's speedy and full recovery, maintaining their unwavering faith and devotion.
