Suspected Burglar Apprehended, Drunken Mishap, Post-Football Brawl, and Other Notable Incidents
In the heart of Offenbach am Main, a series of incidents have occurred over the past few days.
On Tuesday evening around 7 pm, a 22-year-old motorcyclist was injured after having to swerve to avoid a car that seemed to have ignored her right of way in a roundabout. The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and is currently recovering. The driver of the car, yet to be identified, was reported to have driven away without stopping.
In a separate incident, unknown individuals caused damage to the town hall building on the main street. Between Friday afternoon, 4 pm, and Monday morning, 8:30 am, two window panes and a glass door were damaged. The police are currently investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
